Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Mixed Dozen – Limited Edition

You've heard of the running of the bulls and the tomato throwing 'La Tomatina' festival in Spain. But, have you heard of the Montepulciano Barrel Race? 

The race consist of two athletes from each district, the so-called “spingitori”. Their goal is to push the 80kg barrel along an uphill course which travels though the fascinating roads of the historical centre of Montepulciano. The winner is the first to arrive with their barrel in tact at the Cathedral’s Parvil in Piazza Grande. 

So in tribute we thought it was only fitting to dedicate a CASE to this RACE!
