Our Story

Welcome to Mount Franklin Estate

Est 1988, situated 360 metres above sea level in the historic township of Franklinford, just 10 minutes from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs, Mount Franklin Estate is being thoughtfully developed as a place to gather, connect and celebrate.

Set across more than 40 acres at the base of Mount Franklin (Lalgambook), a dormant volcano on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, the estate is shaped by its unique volcanic landscape, cool climate and rich agricultural heritage.

The property is home to over 17 hectares of vineyard, producing cool-climate varieties including Dolcetto, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Nebbiolo, alongside collaborative regional blends crafted with neighbouring vineyards.

Beyond the vines, approximately four acres of olive groves produce estate-grown extra virgin olive oil, complemented by fruit trees, nut plantings and regenerative land management practices that support a vision of integrated and sustainable farming.
