Soil

Across this vast vineyard are a wide variety of soils. The major variety is composed of thick layers of pebbles from different glacial periods, mixed with red clay to form relatively flat landscapes known as plateaus or terraces.

Tasting Notes

Syrah is our favourite grape. It shows different sides of our AOC Luberon & Ventoux: sometimes rich and solar, sometimes more mineral… but the freshness of our terroirs gives very specific wine style, not too jammy.
We came to Crozes-Hermitage to discover a fresher terroir, where “the queen of grapes” is Syrah but with a soil composed of rounded pebbles and not chalky scree anymore.
Our blend, faithful to the Marrenon wine style, reveals floral and fresh fruit aromas. The wine is suave and round in the mouth.

Aging potential up to 15 years. Ideal with duck or creamy cheese, served at 14°C.
